Senior Patent Analyst

Amir Ahmed is our Senior Patent Analyst with over 7 years of Patent Searching Experience at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), providing Specialized Search experience to the Patent Examining Corps. He was a member of the Scientific and Technical Information Center (STIC), providing Search Services in numerous Art Units. Contributions included performing Searches of Genetic Sequences, both Amino Acid and Nucleic Acid comparisons on USPTO and Commercial databases. Amir has years of experience searching a wide array of subject matters including Biotechnology, Chemistry, Medical Devices, Mechanical Engineering, Business Methods, Communications, Transportation, Construction, and Manufacturing. Amir was also of a member of several support teams, including remote support to satellite USPTO offices, inclement weather support staff, and volunteer Patent Training Academy Instructor where he lead multiple sessions focused on building successful and fruitful search strategies. Amir has experience navigating multiple platforms including, STN, ProQuest Dialog, Dialog Classic, Scifinder, IEEE Explorer, PatBase, EAST, ESPACENET, and many more.
